Our Guus' Socceroos were just kicked out of the tournament. Grosso's lousy schwalbe (a deliberate dive to draw a penalty kick) in the 4th minute of the extra time resulted in a penalty kick only seconds before the final whistle. Being eliminated like that sucks!
If it keeps going the way it does now, the 2006 World Cup will forever be known as the one with the lousy referees. At least 3 of the matches played during this tournament were seriously downgraded by its referees. And that's not a good thing.... Well, I reckon y'all won't be reading a whole lot more about the World Cup in this journal...
