bad news
It just got off the phone. It was Maarten. He said he and his wife Abbey were told today they had what's technically called a miscarriage. It was their 1st real attempt to procreate, which makes it extra difficult. At least Nicole and myself now know the two of us are able to have a baby, but they're not. Those doubts add to the bad news they received today. I feel very sad for them. I don't think I'd have felt like this if Sam wasn't around. Without Sam this would just be 'another fact' to me. I realise that sounds pretty bad, but it also shows how much I've opened up (or grown) ever since Sam's here.
