I clearly haven't felt the need to post a little something in this journal lately. At this point I just I feel there's more to life than spending time behind computers. I really wanna be close to Nicole and little Ziezenie, even though it hasn't been born yet. But it is so much fun to feel it move in Nicole's belly. Just looking at her moving belly reminds me to fully experience these moments as often as possible. Hence: the lack of posts.

But here's a few things we did do (although I'll probably find myself forgetting an event or two):
  • We went out to watch The Machinist, which is pretty scary. Or should I say: "Bale's body's pretty scary-looking"? That man was just a moving set of bones. Just to remind us of who he used to be, we decided to watch American Psycho and Batman Begins, which are very watchable films, too.
  • Karlijn and I went over to Willem II to watch them lose to Ajax Amsterdam. And it wasn't even interesting. But we had a darn good time afterwards. Free unlimited beer every once in a while isn't that bad, you know.
  • Nicole and myself spent some time at my grandparents last Sunday. The 2.5 of us were supposed to be the only visitors (even though we knew there was a small chance of Karlijn coming over too. At the end of the day, she appeared to be just about the only one who didn't come over for a visit. Even my long (and I mean long)-lost cousin Ruud was there. He brought his girlfriend and her 2.5-year-old son, which was weird.

That's all for now folks!
