It was time to treat Auk to some real food yesterday. A month after her 30th b-day Nicole and I invited Auk and Michel to a Belgian place that serves some hardcore steppegras. Man, just check out the piles on those plates, and decide for yourself if that'd be enough to completely stuff yourself. If you're wondering what else we discovered deep down at the bottom of that plate, I can tell ya I found some nice&juicy lamb chops. To me, it sure worked out the way we expected: I must've looked like a pregnant dude at the end of the day. I don't know what one looks like, though, cuz I've never seen one.
Earlier that day I witnessed some more Lowlands' festivities. Other than the Arcade Fire, highlights were Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Futureheads, Kaiser Chiefs, Juliette & The Licks and the Foo Fighters... I can't wait to go to a festival next year...
Oh, and FYI, that sun I mentioned the other day: forget about it. It's far gone.
