In other news...the story was pretty grand for an easing us back into the series thing. Owen and Tosh flirting is CUTE but could be very very bad for Tosh, as she's far too nice for Owen anyway. Gwen's devotion to Jack is a little creepy to be honest (especially as she's now ENGAGED to the very non-Torchwood Rhys.) WTF?
Looks like Jack might be having to face up to some hard truths about his past (and maybe tell his team something tooo??). Captain John was obviously so similar to Jack in his previous life/past but now he's gone all sentimental on us and loves the Earth and his team (and his Teaboy!) I like that being with the Doctor has made him realise that too. I'm also really warming to Owen. Well I sort of was at the end of last series but hey...he's such a professional and so devoted to his team when he needs to be...PLUS he did the whole "I'm James Bond and can shoot tyres from car windows" thing. Owwwwen.
Second best thing of tonight...my flatmate who has never seen TW or DW before and she LOVED it. Because it's so fucking ridiculous and yet amazing at the same time.
OH Jack in the sexy red sports car is LOVE.

My mind cannot function any more...I'm supposed to be revising too...just....JACK AND IANTO. I LOVE THEM.
Oh and the fact that Ianto is now armed and stands up to tricksy bastards who try to kill his team = LOVE.
