so i think im addicted to fanfiction. either that, or im a lot more bored than i thought i was and am way too easily entertained. im in the middle of a great marauder-era fic... and laughed way too hard at the passage that im going to copy-paste into here. (that might also have something to do with the fact that its 12:30 am and i ahvent gotten much sleep at all lately.)

“Who loves who?” James said, dropping into his seat beside Lily.
“Lily loves me.” Remus answered.
“Thats nice. Can I ask why?”
“Oh, we're having a secret passionate affair. We weren't going to tell you, but we couldn't hide it anymore.” Lily joked.
“What? Remus I thought we had something special.” Sirius added.
“Sirius, you promised me you two were finished.” Peter said in mock distress.
“But, Peter, I thought you loved me.” Alice said.
“I'm sorry Alice, but I can't help how I really feel.”
“And I can't help cheating on you with Remus.” Sirius said to Peter.
Lily put on a false face of shock, “Remus, I cannot believe you are cheating on me with Sirius.”
“Sorry Lily, you just weren't man enough for me.”
James and Frank were watching the display with amusement.
“You're all mad.” James concluded.

its actually a really good fic. if it has a good ending (and if you like marauder-era fics), i'll link you. im getting tired of fics that start out good and end crappily though.
