The Fate of Destiny!
Tonight was the night of the all-campus water fight. James, Liz, Amanda, and I had went all over Ann Arbor collecting water balloons, shaving cream, and silly string. We then came back to CUAA. I pocketed two silly string and headed to devos. After devos I walked back to Ester dorm with Liz. I was going to help Liz, James, and Amanda defend Ester and Sarah dorms, but then someone came running and said Ruth dorm was under attack. I popped the lids to my silly string off, disregarded the pain in my knees, and ran to Ruth dorm. I sprayed as I ran, as there were Titus Boys all around. I was pelted in my chest once before I entered the dorm.
As soon as more Ruth boys got back into the dorm we were able to properly load up balloons, snipe people with sling shots, and run outside to push people back. Josh B. handed me his machine gun super soaker, and I proceeded to run outside, scream like a gorilla, and blast people.
The machine gun took too long to charge up, so I ditched it and grabbed water balloons. Soon, it appeared Johnnie Girls had stolen shaving cream from Sarah and Ester dorms. I got blindsided and temporarily lost vision in my right eye. I also got shaving cream smeared down my left side. One of the Ruth freshman hosed me off. Unfortunately, it seemed only hoses were left now, so I could only sit back and warn of ambushers.
The excitement of the water war ended when Hannah Boys brought out plastic bags of various food items: mashed potatoes, warm milk, and hot sauce. Our RA got hot sauce down his back, and it slowly crept into his pants. He ran to the nearest hose screaming, "My butt is on fire! My butt is on fire!"
Once the food was brought out, pretty much everyone else retreated. Campus security confiscated the food, and the water war ended shortly after. James was already back in the room. He had helped out Sarah dorm as his sister lives there. Apparently the Hannah Boys had tackled him twice, which is when he gave up. They took it too far.
East side (especially Titus) has been claiming victory. There is talk of retaliation tomorrow or something, but my body might not be up for that. All in all, the Water War was very fun. Makes me wish I had participated in it last year.
