Steep...
Yesterday morning... of course, the phone rings... he died late last night/ early this morning... my uncle... dead, dead, really dead...
So, it looks like it will be a "big family event" and it looks like I'll be attending... you would think they would rather get together for more enjoyable occasions... like a reunion picnic or get together... oh well... maybe they simply want to see how well everyone is... or isn't... or who might be next...
He's being cremated... which sounds like some sort of dairy processing... though I can't quite imagine stirring my uncle into my coffee or tea... well... maybe I can... I remember the great lengths he went to when I last saw him... about 15 years ago... he told me I was making my cup of tea wrong... I should never make it in the microwave, but boil the water on the stove and then let it steep... I disagreed...
