Tammy's here!!!

OK, i haven't updated for yonks, and have been told off for it by some people who i won't name, they know who they are.

since i last updated, i have finished all of my exams, which were ok, some better than others. then i started preparing for Tammy's arrival. by this time, i already started getting some butterflies in my tummy, and the feeling kept getting stronger till wednesday night. i spent the previous couple of days cleaning out my room, especially my desk and cupboards to give Tam some space. looking back with hindsight, i think she needs some more space on my desk to chuck all her stuff. lol.

Anywhoo, i finished cleaning my room at about 1:30am on thursday morning, and got up three and a half hours later at 5am to be at Melbourne International Airport by about 7:30am. my dad drove me to the airport and waited nearby while i was eagerly awaiting Tam walking through the doors at the International Arrivals terminal. when she came out i had that scence from Love Actually playing in my head with all the people meeting at the airport.

the drive home from the airport took about twice as long as it was on the way there because of the peak hour trafic towards the city. but it was ok, cos Tam was able to see the city a little better (and smell the polution, lol). so after we got home, Tam unpacked and put some stuff in the cupboards, tjhen we went for a little walk down Carlisle street, Balaclava and went into Red Rooster where i work, and met a few of the staff members there. we got some juice from a juice bar, and hired some videos (yes, i know i'm primative witout a DVD player). then i gave Sarah a call, and we met up with her later on for coffee and cake at a nearby cafe. we watched Starsky and Hutch at home.

On friday afternoon, we watched Secret Window, then had Shabbat dinner with my parents, and Adam, and his mum and brother. afterwards, we went with Adam and Sarah and Tara to Frostbites on Chapel street, which we won free entry to. we stayed there for a few hours, and Sarah and Tara went home, so the three of us hopped onto the partybus that took us to the Marquee club, which wasn't as good. we stayed there for a bit, then took a taxi home.

On Saturday i took Tam to Caulfield Park which was nice. later that night, i went to work and she stayed with me and read her book for 5 hours. on sunday we signed up at a gym, and went to St.Kilda beach, got some cake on Acland street and checked out the sunday market on the Esplanade. then i went to work again, while Tam stayed home this time and watched TV with my parents.

On Monday we hada kinda lazy morning/afternoon, then we went into the city and Tam got herself a new mobile phone because her old one was ready to be euthanised. then we went back to the gym and had a little orientation session and a look around. it's been newly refurbished and has some awesome high-tech equipment which i have never seen before.

later tonight, we're going for our first workout session. Tam is having a personal trainer tonight, while i have a casual workout.

anways, thats about it for now. i'll try to update more often than i have in the past.

be good everybody :)

Jacob.
