I'm back
Well, i've been back home a week now. i had an amazing time in the USA. the wedding was wonderful, and i got to see a lot of New York. i also checked out Washington DC for 3 days and had an unexpected stop-over in Los Angeles.
i was supposed to come back last Tuesday, but i missed my flight to Sydney from LA because my flight from New Jersey to LA was delayed for 3 hours. So i had to get the same flight the following day. United put me up in the Marriot Hotel near LAX and gave me some meal vouchers, which was cool. i met two other people coming to Melbourne who were in the same situation, and we kinda bonded. we swaped phone numbers and email addresses. after we checked in our stuff the next day, we decided to split a cab and head to Venice Beach.
so yeah, i've got 9 rolls of film that need developing (yes, i know i'm primative cos i don't have a digital camera), but when i get them developed i'll write in a lot more detail how i spent my 3 weeks in the United States, and i'll even post some pics, too. i went back to uni the same day my plane landed. the first night back, i slept for 15 hours. that definately got rid of my jetlag.
so it's business as usual for me now.
