Wow, I totally suck at updating. I never can do the things I say I want to do. I guess it's just because my life is really boring and there's just nothing to put here, though. :|
Summer's gone by so fast. I can't believe registration for school is in a week. And I have to get my picture taken and everything. I hate being in pictures. And since I'm a Senior now, the picture in the yearbook will be in color and bigger and everything. *Sigh*
In school news, I've pretty much finished my summer reading books (How to Read Literature Like a Professor and Life of Pi). I haven't even started prepping for the ACTs though. I'm taking them the day after my 18th birthday. Way to celebrate?
I don't get why I like reality shows so much. I'm gonna feel so lost without them. So You Think You Can Dance (Travis or Benji plz) ends this week and Treasure Hunters (Geniuses plz) next week. I watch both of them religiously. And then of course Grey's Anatomy has to be up against CSI in the fall which makes me want to cry because I don't have Tivo or a P2P program on my computer to download episodes.
The feeling of being lost also came with the ending of the Draco Veritas Trilogy fanfic that I've been following over the last 3 years or so. It's a summer tradition for me to read that fic and reread the HP series. I think the release of the 7th Harry Potter book (slated for late 2007?) will coincide with mass depression among young adults. Good time to be a shrink?
Let's see, Neopets news. I got the Volcano Run Avatar which was a summer goal from last year. And the NT Star Avatar. I was also 21st person to 300 Avatars. I've slipped from like 14th to 200, I think. But of course, #300 is a clickie. That tradition will probably never be broken. RSing sucks now, Altador Cup sucked, Ollie sucks, blah blah.
Anyway, I've got a bunch of relatives coming and going over the next couple weeks and a wedding to not go to, so I won't be on as much, sadly. Thank god none of them will be here during my two reality show finales, is all I have to say.
