Yesterday was insane! Freaking crazy…
It started off when I went to FOCA instead of KP because of a scheduling error, but it ended up being alright because they needed me at FOCA and KP was covered. So me and Ashwee did a school group from Sabal Palm. It was a small group and Bill was there to help us too. Poor French soldiers… in my explanation of what they wore I did not mention pants. Ha! The program went reasonably well, I mean, it wasn’t going to win any interp awards and it was a little jumpy, but we made it through and it seemed like the kids had a good time. We marched the little brats (they were kinds good honestly) to the fort and let ‘em go. Then we looked up and saw a mated pair of BALD EAGLES! Wow! I’ve never seen a bald eagle before! Quite majestic and all that. They kids loved it. So back to the VC Ash and me went. We killed about an hour and then went to lunch at Subway followed by Oh-my-god pumpkin lattes at Starbucks. Those are heaven if you’ve never had one. Pumpkin pie flavored heaven! When we got back we were oh so productive when we watched Dragonheart on her laptop. Oy… we’re bad rangers. At 4 we went for a ride in the golf cart down to the dock. And guess what? Holy crap! Dolphins! I heard this whoosh sound off to my right and when I looked I saw a dolphin going underwater. She (and we’re sure it was a she) was so close to the shore! Then we went out on the dock itself and what should come swim right next to us? The mother dolphin and her calf! It was so very cute/wild/wonderful! If we’d been in the water it would have been about 3 feet away. I’ve never seen a dolphin close up before! The baby was so adorable and small! They eventually swam off but when we started watching out in the river we saw that the whole pod was out there! They were spread out so much we hardly knew where to look! We saw them throwing fish into the air. They were playing with their food! Say it with me: Awww! Right before we left we looked passed the fort and we saw them jumping out of the water like it was Seaworld or something. The were pretty far away, but I saw 4 or 5 jumps. Amazing. Wildlife galore! Also, when we looked up we saw a juvenile bald eagle. We also saw a bunch of low flying turkey vultures, but after the dolphins and the eagles only Ash was really excited about those. So, sadly we waved goodbye to our dolphins (Bye Flipper!) and went back to the VC. We closed it up and went home.
When I got home it was time to get my makeshift Jedi costume together. (NOTE: I’m typing this is Word so my computer won’t eat it when I try to post, and if you type “jedi” with a lowercase j it underlines it in red. If you click that it corrects it to “Jedi” with a capital j. Even Word is a Star Wars nerd. Yes! And scene…) so anyway, my real costume isn’t done, so I have to patch one together. After much switching around I finally get one that looks pretty good. White shirt that kind of looks like it’s Japanese, brown tank under it, my black belt with all the hooks and pouch, another belt kind under that, a black fabric belt, my brown pants and my black boots. Over that I wore my brown robe. Not perfect, but convincing. The robe and the lightsaber were the most important and I had those already.
Around 10:15 or so I get to Geoff’s. The house looked so awesome. There were lights, and candles, and creepy things all over the walls. Amber wrote “redrum” on the walls in the bathroom with fake blood. It was quite scary. There were a lot of people there that I didn’t really know, so I stuck with people I did for a while. Eventually we decided to go get some food. We had plenty of booze, but no snacks! So me, Amber, some girl I didn’t know, and a guy dressed like Speed Racer went out for snacks and MORE liquor. When we came back there were even more people in that little house.

3. I got kicked in the stomach and slapped in the face by drunken Adam
4. Fisher and Geoff brawled
5. Fisher and Adam brawled
6. Adam and Geoff brawled
7. I had a lightsaber duel against a zombie
8. I had a gun fight with a Mexican
9. Adam took a header into a table/wall/people
10. Adam took his clothes off
11. Booze got spilled everywhere
12. General destruction of decorations
13. Got hit on by Speed Racer and Magnum P.I.
14. More people showed up
15. Almost everyone threw up
16. Was bitched at by random boy’s wife while he was passed out
17. Talked with Eric for a really, really long time
18. Witnessed huge fight
19. Definitely got felt up by friend’s boyfriend
20. Almost got kissed by same said boy
21. Froze my ass off outside
22. Went home and to bed at 3:45
Whoa! Just, whoa! 19 and 20 were kinda odd, but Geoff was drunk and when he gets drunk his hands go everywhere. Thankfully he understands that no means no so it didn’t get more than PG 13. He also kept prying to whether I like Eric or not, which I’m pretty sure he already knew the answer to. Yes, I like Eric. I like him a lot. But, he has a girlfriend. So we’re just friends, which is how it will stay! Geoff also seemed worried whether I thought that he didn’t like me or something and wanted to know if I still liked him too. I told him that none of it mattered since he had a girlfriend, just like Eric, so it wasn’t important. He kept asking if I would kiss him, but I told him no. Later he only tried to kiss me when I did the ear thing (for old time’s sake) and I backed away a bit. He looked all sad (or embarrassed?) that he tried to do it and apologized. I told him it was okay, which it was, nothing happened and will never happen. Oy! I need to talk to Amber about it. Not because I feel guilty, but because I don’t want any weirdness.
Wow, this is getting to be of epic proportions. I’m tired of typing. I’ve got stuff to do anyway, other than being on this damn computer. Besides, James’ Halloween bash is on Monday, so I’m sure I’ll have to write about that too. It’ll be a year to the day.
