It’s quite gray outside my window. Usually this sort of gray weather makes people miserable, but it just makes me want to clean. Or sometimes it makes me want to sleep. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, my bed is a mess and to sleep would be to clean it. Of course this would be perfect if I were in my usual mood to clean, however I am not.
I am also not in the mood to study for my psychology exam on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Fancy that. I’d prefer to sit here and stare at the mess around me. Wallowing in my filth I type this out.
I have my msn messenger open. People are writing me meaningless messages full of elle-oh-elles and oh-em-gees and such. Ugh. There is no XQSZ for acronyms unless they are helping you remember something. Even then I’d prefer to make a rhyme or song out of things.
GUESS? Opens on the 26th of the month. That’s in two days from now and I’m very excited. I saw our store for the first time today and it was so large and delightfully lovely! I was folding and sorting and security censoring all sorts of new and gorgeous product. It’s going to be difficult to work there and make money. I’m going to have to exercise the strongest self-control and restraint when it comes to the merchandise. I just want to buy everything and be eternally lovely, trendy and youthful. If I weren’t so materialistic and shallow I would have lots more money and probably some sort of useful skill in my back pocket. But alas, this was not meant to be. I will forever be acquisitive, but at least I will look divine.
I saw someone from high school today. He was one of those kids that disappears for a while, but you wonder what they’re up to. He looked good, and seemed happy. I like happy people a lot. I like being a happy person almost as much.
Anyways his week shall be busy, but at least exams are almost up. I’m so close now I can smell it. I can almost taste the smell and I can almost see the taste. Basically all my senses are prepared and anxious for the end of exams. The 27th is my last one and it’s psychology, that stupid, whore bitch. Stresssss.
What else has happened lately? I went bowling. I went to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs concert and got to be front row. I went to the Death Cab/Franz Ferdinand/The Cribs concert and got to be front row and got a set list. (I put both sets of concert pictures in a facebook album). The set list story is actually a pretty good one. You see, the crowd was mostly there for Death Cab, and they’re okay too, but I wanted to see Franz. So I was at the front and I was dancing my little bum off and singing along. Let me tell you, this little lyric whore knows ALL the words. After the set was done and it came time for the Franz lists to be passed out the statues around me suddenly became the BIGGEST fans ever, all reaching for the list in the bouncer’s hands and yelling and grabbing. The bouncer though, obviously in tune with my Ferdinand love and devotion, saw my pleading green eyes and came over and placed the list in my hand and, swatting the other annoying squishy people around me, he guided my hand to my bag, where the set list went, all safe and sound. It’s on my door now; next to my set lists from The Killers and Snow Patrol. Random… Anyways I also went to the Benmiller Inn for the weekend with my family and we had the most amazing family time. Family doesn’t suck, but rather, they rock something fierce! We had Easter and I have become engorged because of increased, excessive chocolate consumption. I’m trying to think if anything else interesting has happened? I think not. But it’s been a pretty rocking month. I think I will look back on April of 2006 quite fondly for a long time.
April still has 6 days to become increasingly awesome.
Gosh, I hope I didnt jynx it!
