i'm on the hunt i'm aftah youuu
yesterday at work was the usual. more stressful than it needs to be..although i DID listen to duran duran the first couple hours. which helped. sooo much.
godddamn i love duran duran. i've been listening to this dang greatest cd all the time since like... 99? plus loving them when i was a youth? oh man. seriously the world is a better place when you're listening to duran duran. i want to have a duran duran themed party. inspired by hungry like a wolf perhaps? or girls on film? or babarella? who am i kidding... i don't have parties! i'd have to clean then!!
then i had to go shopping for a bday present. it was alright. places i used to LOVE GOING INTO have lost their luster lately.. oh well. i was in the glitter store and they were playing. the WHOLE nsync celebrity album and i was trying really hard to keep my voice down as i sang the second-rate hits like "up against the wall" hahahhaha. that cd's so great. and i own five of them. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA. there's a trivia question for you... how many copies of celebrity does julia own? oh. five. bought on the first day. HAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAH godddamn that's cool, no? hahhaha of course it's not!!!!!!
today at work was 45o74954935749574 times better than usual. and it all boils down to MY BOSS WAS GONE. so there are lots of smiles and laughter from everyone i sit around and work with, cuz we're all just so happy we can focus on our JOB and not the drama and gossip that she forces us to endure. we had an ice cream party and i got to play with play-doh with bob's 4 year-old. i wish i could just... play with play-doh all day long. somehow i don't think that's an ACTUAL JOB hahhahahaha
this weekend should be aiiiight... friday i need to wrap presents and work on some crafts. saturday is birthday festivities for the lovely lynne' and then out with brian/freddy/nate/meredith/phil crew at night. i haven't seen freddy in FOREVER. since that one party in the loft where he put his gum in my drink and i fished it out and started chewing it. hahhahahaha.
awwww i miss the freddy! and i haven't been out with NATE since the party when brian got into that showdown with the guy we called jt. man. that guy was cool. oh well. being at that hipster party made me miss those guys way too much. cuz they don't let the party suck... they turn it into a good time no matter what... something brian's not 100% capable of just when it's me and him... and then sunday... if my button cutter comes in the mail... and it BETTER... it's kimya buttons and maybe cleaning? who knows.

p.s. there's a chance i'll be in seattle on nov. 7-10 to visit the darling Kris Lee. a real good chance. an almost 100% chance. there's also the definate appearance of one adam green on nov. 9 in seattle. so uhhhhh. you can do the math if you wish....
