since I live here and I do go to that Mall, my thought was, I need to check out the freak who called 911 and complained. Who are those folks who seem to think what you were doing was wrong? Or out of character for here? Half the fun of going to the mall is people watching and I would rather see you and the crew there than some of those whiney types.
A: It was horrificly bad service. B: This is PORTLAND, mall employees, and the cops should both be VERY used to all this. PDX is like... The San Fran annex of the world. Get over it if you wanna live and work her. KTHXBAI. Ya know?
It sounds like you just had to deal with some jackass employee who probably thought (much like every other whackjob idiot who knows jack about it all) that because your girls were on leashes that it ment if he said 'Hi' he was entitled to get a handjob in the bathroom or some shit.
And often the stupid rent-a-cops (Mall security) don't know jack about how to ACTUALLY deal with people, or handling complaints. This makes me want to go and actually be a jackass to them though. XD I hate incompetent rent-a-cops.
In the future, if you're feeling up to a longer drive, go to Lloyd center. ;) They're usually MUCH more friendly and tolerant of all that. (Because they're on the MAX line I think.) At least from my past experiance. O.o
Also in regards to the dipshit who was objecting over "It's impolite to
( ... )
It was horrible service. The leashes were probably a bit much in this fetish world, ran by the puritanical perverts who prefer that they, and everyone else, keep their kink in the closets.
Is it fair? No. Is it their right? Yes.
Malls are, sadly, private property and businesses. So, greatest common denominator, status quo, etc...
It sucks. But it's how things are.
You have the right to do it. They have the right to be offended by it and kick you out for whatever reason they want. It might be a PR nightmare, but they have the right.
*grin* It's that "PR nightmare" part that I love. Seriously, this is hands-down the best birthday ever. Looking back on it long after the fact now, it still amuses me. It'll be a story I'll treasure for years. On a different note, you should see the place now. We have floors. .................and a cage.
social security numbers, birthdates, addresses, and drivers' license numbers
what?! it sounds like some one was trying to pull credit fraud on all of you really fast. i hope you didn't give them that information. i have no idea why they would even need anything more than a photo of your face for banning you.
Have you called the management company for the mall and complained?
The demanding way more info than they have any right to and refusing to put anything in writing are things that could get the mall in trouble. adding to it be trying to hide their names... *shakes head*.
You have to wear those nametags for a *reason*, morons.
Ehh. If we can manage to find the tickety-thingie again, yes, we'll be making several calls. It's not something that I consider urgent, and we've had unexpected hamster babies and several other random things-to-be-dealt-with happening that have been occupying our time and attention. I'm not going to let it drop but I'm also not all that upset, it was too funny to be worrying and they didn't actually GET enough information to be a problem. I've got names and dates recorded and plenty of witnesses, so it's not like waiting a while is going to change anything.
