Updates overall
Okay, here goes.
First, I'm firing my current lawyer because he's bloody nuts and hiring a new lawyer tomorrow. I just have the overwhelming feeling that I hired a lawyer who is sprialing into demenita or something similar very rapidly. I don't know too many lawyers who ask you to explain something and then start screaming at you that they don't want to hear that when you attempt to answer them. And they do this more than once.
So I'm hiring a different attorney, one who was recommended by someone who has a Work Comp case at the same employer that I do. So far everything seems good on that front.
I'm leaving for Mississippi tomorrow after the lawyer hire/fire gig, to spend the holidays with my folks and one of my sisters. In process my sis and i are sitting down with the folks and explaining my other issues, namely the transgender issue and plans to fix it. That should be interesting.
Finally, I'm off work until further notice because I requested that my employer follow the rules workers comp laid out and that i will only do what has been approved by the insurance company and the doctors office. And only the most current one. This does not mean they get to go pull papers out of thin air that have dates that are months old on them. And if they do then I request they get them updated and approved and get me copies showing approval before I do the new job assignments. Of course they got mad at this request to play by the law because they shouldn't have to and sent me home til they could figure out what to have me do. It's interesting to watch a grown man throw a fit like a two year old who didn't get a sucker when he wanted one.
