Alive... kind of
Just a quick post letting people know that I am still around and alive, I've just been very neglectful of lj for a while. I haven't ment to be, it just sort of turns out that way.
Ummm.... update on what's been happening with me.
I quit my job at the restaurant at the beginning of March due to personality conflicts with the new manager and it also not being worth the time for me to drive over there since most of the customers quit coming in. Then, I tried to see if I still had a job at the winery, and had to wait 3 days to get a response from the owner there, then got feed a line of bull about why the other owners didn't want me back - this was back in December I guess. So, I spent two months being a bum, going to class, and playing WoW.
About a month ago, a friend sent me down to one of the car dealerships to inquire about a detailing job. So, I went and talked to the owner, and I got the job!! It's very nice because it's only 1 block away from my apartment, the people I work with are cool, I get paid a decent wage for the area, they're fairly flexible about hours - within reason, and I actually enjoy it more than I thought I would. Now, is this something I thought I'd be doing? No, but around here if you're the slighest bit picky, which I am, it's hard to find decent jobs.
Anyways, I have a ton of catching up to do in here - eeks!!! I will get it done eventually, I promise.
And on a side note, Happy belated Mother's Day to all the moms, and Happy Father's Day to all the dads.
