We brush off the small child crawling into the bed in the middle of the night.
We brush off the pet who has waited all day adoringly for us to return.
We brush off the person who had the right of way and let us in anyway.
We brush off the compliment the stranger gave us...
In watching the trauma of the Kim family in Oregon, I decided that in 2007 I'm going to take the time to notice and appreciate all of those little things.
