Remington Legacy 4.4
I was holding onto this update for I don't even know how long and realized, what the heck, just post it!
There's a slight theme in this post...
About twenty-million years ago when I last updated, we'd had a birth! Here's the proud daddy on his way to work, still thinking about it. He helps me remember what the heck is going on.
Sadly, he got home and I made them move. The old lot was getting bug-tastic so the moved across the street. Literally.
What we have here in this picture, as a quick recap, is dark haired Jasmia Remington, the last of 6 children of Julian and Kendal, the 2nd Gen Legacy couple. She is still a teen and therefore still in the legacy house (she moved on to college slightly after this picture). She's dancing with the first born Gen 4 child, violent Violet. Next to them is Joy, the Gen 3 spouse holding the 2nd child, Jeffery, another blond. The cat is... a cat they have. With a name. Something I don't remember. Lastly is Joshua, Gen 3 heir, holding his third child, another boy by the name of Thomas, and another blond. We've managed to breed out all the black hair in this gen and they've all got Joy's brown eyes, breeding out the bizarro custom green eyes I started with. So! Moving on!
Fairly quickly, Jeffery grew up into this unfortunate looking child. At least he's happy about it.
Violet the not-terribly-violent also has a birthday fairly quickly. Into...
A surprisingly not unattractive young teen. Surprising to me anyway.
Violet: "That's right, I've got it! I'm here to show it!"
Apparently a future cheerleader as well.
Clearly with not a whole lot else going on in the household, Thomas also has his birthday and not long after this, child services was calling the parents inquiring about reports of them never taking their child out into the sun.
See this relatively harmless looking ghost (I think that's Julian, Gen 2)? He's pitching a fit because the family had to move. So what does it do about it?
Let the ramaging begin!
Jeffery wishes upon the stars for them to re-kill the ghosts in his house.
Because they're jerks.
Joshua: "Cool! My undead dad just scared the shirt off me!" Grin grin grin.

Annoying.
It might be hard to see, but the arrows are pointing out some of the invasion. Only two, which I should be grateful for, but they were more than enough to make my sims life hell all week.
Joshua isn't finding it so much fun, night after night after night.
Here he is checking his blood pressure. Even though he really liked it, I guess. Kind of like if you take roller coaster rides for the thrill of being scared to death.
Ghost Spam! Not your every day variety...
Need failure number one! His son does the same thing in his diapers so to him, dad is cool! BFF!
This is the same night. He just changed out of his suit when he took a shower.
I was really thinking, hm, death by fright, that's unfortunate but we all have to go sometime and if it's his time (like they seem to think it is)...
Until they started working on the potential heirs.
All week, they couldn't sleep, couldn't catch up on skills, couldn't hardly eat...
Finally, Joshua made the big decision and moved the urns to the cemetary the next morning. Enough was enough. He bawled when he did it though, which I found very touching and sad.
Who was unphased by all this?
Uh... huh. Just like the spouses, huh?
Things calmed down around the house after that, and even some birthdays were celebrated happily.
Despite their age differences, Jeffery and Thomas grow a strong brotherly bond.
Violet, meanwhile, works on her people skills.
