So I've been clearly gone for a long long LONG time. In regards to my last post about seeing Springsteen: It was amazing. Tom Morello (rage against the machines guitarist) and Eddie Vedder showed up. will go down as one of the most memorable concerts. Also, Springsteen brought back 10th avenue freeze out and had a very classy tribute to Clarence Clemons. After the line 'and the big man joined the band' they went silent and a picture tribute was played on the monitors. Furthermore. Chicago is a beautiful city.
After that I went to Cleveland and saw the Tragically Hip play. I also met them. This is the Canadian equivelent to meeting Jesus.
Been doing very well with my savings. I have my money going about 4 different directions so I LOOK broke. But, if I put it all together I have a very nice cache.
I'm back (one again) to a gym and will be going through what I'm going to call 'Hell Month' Where I do the UFC working in the morning, go to work and then hit the gym. I really need to lose this weight and get on with my career. No more laziness..Officially. I'm exploring options on making me accountable on going through a facebook group or something.
Christmas: Real fun bought my nephew two N7 onesies so he can match my clothing. Hey I won't be having kids so I'm living vicariously through my sister. My niece got a princess castle. Her only real girly thing. She's a sports nut like her dad. She can recognize certain teams already (she just turned 3). She can also point out whose our favourite teams. For me she points to the sharks. That should not be surprizing to anyone.
I've been writing a story for a very very long time now. I'm trying to write about a time when I was in a bad headspace and it's hard to go back there. The inspiration came from a song and it's painted this vision in my head that I want to share. Not too sure when it will be done. But it will be here much like the others.
