I was at mass tonight
I was at mass tonight and the closing statements of the priest were.."There are two more priests younger than me on sick leave and we keep losing priests..you do the math. Pray for vocations." Now I thought about this on the way home and it bothered me because the reason for all of this is because people just arent serious enough anymore and there is no challenge to anything and therefore NO inspiration. People are doing things out of tortured adaptedness and that should never be the case. My conclusion: When you're filling a hole and you want it flat and strong enough to place weight upon you would want to fill it to the top wouldnt you? Yeah you would..so fill it until there is no room left for collapse and fill it with dirt and cement until it is SOLID.
