[ He takes a split second to wonder how the guy shimmied up to the third floor, but then remembers how Badou used to get into upper floor apartments by climbing down the sides of buildings and figures this dude has the same crazy fucking monkey-like ability to scale walls.

He slides over to the window and attempts to shut it as Ace is coming through. ]

{Damn right he does. Crazy little shit used to climb trees that made these apartments look like shrubbery. Not to mention taking out monstrous animals that could look eye-level with the damn window. And murderous pirates, lets not forget those.

He sees what you're doing, drops back to avoid getting his hands crushed. He clings to the window ledge, tiny fingers just short enough to be out of harms way. He's sort of swinging and doesn't mind that he's three stories up and could splat on the ground if he lets go.

Oh no, instead, he's using that slight momentum to swing his arm back, clutching his pipe low and thrusting it forward into the window to break it. Works like a charm of course, metal + glass + this kids incredible strength= Broked. (He once kicked over a tree twice as big around as he was)}

[ OH CHRIST, HIS FUCKING WINDOW. Heine is pissed now. He shoves the window open again and drags Ace through, dropping him onto the floor of his room. ]

The hell do you think you're doing?

[ He gets a hold of his Luger pistol in case Ace starts more trouble. ]

He swings his pipe staff around, using the hooked end to sweep in at your ankles. HOW'S THAT FOR AN ANSWER?}

[ Heine jumps out of the way and fires a warning shot directly over the kid's right shoulder, close enough to the ear to make a whizzing sound, just to show him exactly how good his aim is. Less of that pipe swinging, now, mk? ]

{His eyes widen at the gunshot and he freezes as the bullet whizzes by his ear. There's a moment where time just kinda slows down and his heart seems to all but stop, skipping a few beats to catch up once more as time speeds back to reality. He rolls to the side, kneeling and reaching over to touch his ear, expecting it to be bleeding. He looks at his fingers, heart thudding in his chest and panting with the adrenaline.

Holy shit. He glances up at you, still kind of shaking with the rush. You're fast. He never even saw you draw. He's frozen and refuses to drop his weapon. His instinct is screaming at him to run, but he has this stubborn impulse to never run once he faces an enemy. He's never really faced anyone with a gun before though... so he is considering bolting.}

[ He isn't lowering the gun, trying to keep the threat of injury as real as possible. He doesn't think this kid is as dangerous as he's trying to look so he isn't going to shoot directly at him for fear of wasting precious bullets, but he wants to keep him scared just in case he gets any ideas. ]

Drop it and you'll get to leave safe and sound. Don't make me take it from you myself.

{No, he's not afraid. So what, this guy has a gun, big deal. He doesn't back down, he can't, he won't turn away and run. No. He stands his ground and forces himself to stop shaking. He tightens his grip on the pipe, his lips curling into a snarl.}
