Reasons...
Reasons why today was good.
Class went well. She genuinely seemed to really like my floor plan and my overall idea. She didn't seem to mind I would be missing next class (plus I'm not the only one missing it, though I do feel a bit bad about it and want the info.) I picked out most of my fabrics and am liking the class a lot better the past few weeks with the project and what we are learning. If only it wasn't 4 more years... Is it sad that I gett along best with a woman twice my age with two kids who works part time as an upholsterer? Would she hang out with me?
I have almost certainly decided I will go going on the company boat cruise. Lobster, clams, chicken, booze, city at night, dancing, free. Sounds like fun.
Work was very busy and went my very fast. And. I got nominated as associate of the quarter. Go me. And I get money just for being nominated. I pick this up on the cruise and there find out if I win, which I really don't expect looking at the other people who won previous times. This plus surprise bonuses, they must be realizing I'm underpaid! But yeah for me and feeling recognized at least a little bit. Maybe they do notice me and all my work?
