Alright, it is time for new stories from the teaching world. Drumroll please...
I had a little boy randomly tell me that his Dad is going to make a man out of me. Mind you, this is without provocation. I wasn't even paying attention to him. He just apparently thought that I should know that.
A few days later this same boy starts to tell me that on the field trip the week before he lost something. He honestly seemed concerned so I tried to get more information. He went on to tell me that he lost his identity...on the field trip.
During lunch one of the boys was eating a banana. I hate bananas. The peel had fallen on the floor. I could smell the dreadful banana. I asked the boy to throw the peel away, but he misunderstood. He thought I wanted him to throw away the actual banana so he got mad and wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the lunchtime. He later told the other teacher that he wasn't happy because it was "banana trash day." ????
Okay, that's all for now.
