groundhog love
So I went out to accompany my friend (and partner for the day at work) Laura for a smoke break while our party took up both our sections for 5 hours total and as we stood facing the field between the restaurant and the Lexus dealer we saw two groundhogs. Yes, I'm speaking of the furry rodents that either see or don't see their shadow every February. They were frolicking around in merriment under the power lines in the 90 degree weather. And I'm pretty sure they were flirting.
Apparently I work beside a natural wildlife preserve. And this, only 100 yards away from overpriced new cars and a four lane highway from hell.
