traveling plans
I'm trying to buck a plane ticket to Peru. I'm going there for a latino american geography congress, but I also wanted to take the time and visit Machu Picchu.
The problem is, I don't think is a good idea to go by myself, but my classmates are taking forever organizing their trips. So I'll probably will go for a week for the congress and come back to classes as soon as possible. This is all happening in the middle of August!
I don't know... I'll probably won't have the chance to visit Machu Picchu ever again. Not like this, in any case. But if I keep waiting there won't be tickets left!
The only plus side to this, aside the fact that I do go to a freaking congress to another country! is that the tickets are free thanks to the amount of kms my dad accumulates in a year because of his work. It's thanks to that I've been able to travel to, let see... Ecuador, Spain, Punta Arenas, and that one time to Calama. The Denmark/Greece trip I think we paid it. Gods, I so abuse of all that. And my dad is always telling me "I don't know when we all could go to Mexico, but if you wanna go alone, just say so!" Oh, if I only had the time and the money to STAY there...
