Running, running and running, running...

Just came back of a mini-seminar about solar energy and non-conventional energy resources. It wasn't the most exciting thing ever, but I got to learn some interesting things. We got to interact with our (kind of) sister company from the States, which was nice. I hope I get to work with them at some point. I kinda did when we where working on an environmental study proposal in Costa Rica last year, but thankfully that one didn't work out... it was one of the worse proposals or projects I have ever work on, not that I've work in many yet, of course, but it's gonna stick in my memory on the how things SHOULDN'T BE DONE list.

I finally watched last week's Grey's Anatomy. OK, so I kinda just skipped over everything I already knew I wasn't going to like... Cristina. Derek. I'm used to not liking anything to do with Derek, but this season has been all about hating Cristina. I don't think that's gonna change any time soon, sadly.

April was, as people already said, pretty damn hilarious. I don't understand how Owen can think she's good trauma material, though, considering she went batshit CRAZY with his trauma certification!! I loved that Alex was the one to catch on so easily on where Owen was going with the scene, so he took it easy... and he still did great! I certainly LOVED his face when April hug him after they won. It's like he was happy too and then he realized April was freaking *hugging* him! I'm kind of fond of April's crush on him. Mostly because they have been interacting with each other for while now (off camera, of course), and after the "fun" they had during the certification and how Alex warmed up to her after it, it's not something that comes out of nothing (like most romances kind of do). Lets see how things go tomorrow...

As for Jackson, I kind of liked how Owen was tough on him about using his friends as a reason to quit. While I empathize with Jackson on his issue, the thing with him is that he's OK until he makes a mistake and then he can't get over it and gets worse. In that context, he does need to man up and start giving things his best, so going on him hard was probably right to do... the thing is, that's also the case for Cristina. Everyone has been so freaking nice to her, praising her for every little bit of thing she has done right, and it hasn't worked. Someone should try the "stop being a whiny bitch" scream approach, just to see if that works!

A side note, because I really didn't care about Lexie and Mark this time around, saying "no!" to a guy doesn't mean freaking anything. I know she wasn't really offended with Mark checking her ass, but saying "no!" and nothing else just doesn't make any sense to me.

On other matters... I finish reading a really good Supernatural fic the other day. Very old school (first season!). I'll talk about it some more next time, I guess.

I'm also excited about Young Avengers! The new issue came today!! I haven't seen it yet but I've heard great things! YAY!

Also, tomorrow is the Black Eyed Peas concert. It's gonna be fun! But before that, two weeks and a half ago I went to watch Green Day... it was AWESOME!!!!! Like, one of the best concerts EVER! Their show was three hours long! And then, I went to see VAMPS last saturday. Yes, VAMPS in Chile! And it was the other best concert EVER! And this one may come out in DVD because there were too many cameras in there for it to not be in DVD format in the future. I'm pretty sure we impressed Hyde enough to come back on his next tour, hopefully. The environment in that hall was amazing! So I'm hoping tomorrow the BEP will give me the third best concert EVER! I've already seen them live before, so I know they can put up a show!

Off to bed now. November is a busy month...
