What? I don't like to get my picture taken after a long day of christmas shopping!
This was on monday. I did got out of that trip to the mall with lots of new clothes ;) (and presents for lots of people, of course!)
Day 12 → Whatever tickles your fancy
With the disaster zone that is the kpop fandom with the now added Hangeng situation, I looked around for something that could make me happy within the same fandom. Not surprised, I ended up with something about Yesung. Gods, I just love watching him getting his face sucked by that big microphone thingy. And I have a thing for epic songs, what's more epic that that one, really?
Day 13 → A fictional book
Personally, I like the "And then there were none" title used years later. This novel was my first Agatha Christie novel and my first serious mystery novel as well. I was around twelve when I read it, a few days over the summer. I enjoyed it SO MUCH! Yes, it's a freaking old book so it's hard to get familiar with the characters and their way of thinking, but this novel was the base plot for so many stories to come!
The idea of having a specific number of people put together in a place and start killing them off when you know only someone from the group could be the killer and trying to find the clues and wonder how the next one is gonna die... I know, it sounds a little bit creepy on my part, but for someone that loves mystery, this one was my first big one! Have I now mention Clue is one of my favorites movies ever? And I totally ruled the game! Wonderful novel that goes way beyond its time!
Day 14 → A non-fictional book
By now, you should know I'm a huge dork. I'm not that smart, sadly, but I do have a very deep love for maths and economics. I just think there are such fun subjects to learn about! So I had a great time reading about economics with this book. It talks about statistics and hard data and economic principles, but it does it by using everyday examples and funny questions, like, Why do crack dealers still live with their moms?. I second book just came out and I'm getting it for christmas ^^
