So I'm sick. Officially, I guess. I have a cold that's going to become the flu any time now. Good thing I don't think I have to worry about my grades. I'm ready with three subjects and I have to wait for two more

Still sick, but managing it! I took two days off to feel like crap, but not any more! I'm on bloody vacation, right?I WILL enjoy it, somehow!

I haven't watch more than one episode of Jonathan Creek, though. I kinda have to think for that one, and that I haven't been able to do much of XD But the first episode was fun. The first thing that got to me was the music, very HP movies, I thought, I don't know why =P The second thing was Anthony Stewart Head, whom always amuses me when I see him in anything else beside Buffy, I don't know why either XP The ending was a little far out there, I have to admit, because really, killing a guy with your eyes covered using your *foot*? Kinda hilarious. I got the killer right, at least. I'll tried getting the "how" next time!

Nothing much good, actually, well, decent, but kinda all the same? This was nice, I'll check out the author later on. She has some stuff beside CSI in her list.

And just because I was telling you about Numb3rs the other day, I'll give you this. N3 fandom is small and not very diverse, but this author made an unlikely pairing at the time a popular one now. The fic is funny, short and easy to understand, hope you like it.

Also! My friend Nataly came to see me yesterday and promise me to look for her recs on Harry Potter AND Buffy/Angel fics, both fandom very dear to her. Hopefully she's have something fun for me to get into and for you to read!

Ah, the drabble, it's just an idea that we cooked up with a friend a day we started talking about what kind of drama would it be fun to watch johnnys in. This one was probably the one we liked the most, but we're still throwing ideas in the mix. What can you come up with? It's fun, try it! What johnny and what kind of story?

A johnny and an idea... I'd love to see Koyama and Shige in more. I loved Koyama is his Loss Time Life ep, and Shige was cute in Kakure, but Koyama especially only seems to get bit parts and cameos (I admit, I flailed a little when he turned up in Yukan Club XD) He's sweet, but I'd love to see him play a bit of a badass, maybe a hitman or something - friendly shop-boy by day, deadly assassin by night. with some really obvious twist, like he only kills people he thinks deserve it, but then someone takes a hit out on someone he ends up falling for (*cough*Shige*cough*) XD I want to write this now. It's a shame I suck at AU X_x

Have you seen Weiss Kreuz? Because the idea of hit-man by night, shop-boy by day totally comes from that! XD And I get the whole ambiguity thing of being a good person but doing the ugly work of getting rid of bad people. And I think Koyama CAN do a role that's pretty different from his personality, I get a laugh when I think that he has played the "playboy" type at least twice, and in Yukan Club he manages to be cool!! But what has Shige's character done to deserve becoming a target? Because answering that gives you the main plot! Whether he deserves or not to be a target, and if he does (and that would be the coolest direction to the story, for me), if Koyama will or will not do what he has to do, what's the thinking process to that decision and whether Shige has some redeeming qualities, that would make things a lot more ambiguous because your dealing with shades of gray...

And yes, I do think about this kinda stuff WAY too much XD

I haven't really thought THAT much into it, you said character and drama! XD You didn't say I had to plan the eps! XDD But now I want to. And knowing me, Koyama would do it, because I LOVE WRITING ANGST. But I kind of don't want him to, I've never really written fluff or anything sweet, so I kind of want to..

What? really? You sell me this idea and you don't know the infamous story of those who "haunt the dark beasts"... and by day work on a flower shop? XD It's an anime/manga/drama cd that started around '98, I think, very crappy quality in animation plus plot points to fall off of your chair laughing, but the idea behind it is rather interesting, about four very different guys whose lives were completely screw over, working as assassins for a secret organization that takes out powerful people that can't get caught by the police. The fandom is big enough, which means is full of crap, but the few good fics are *very* good and most of them pretty dark and twisty (just the way we like them ^^). Here is a fic I read not so long ago, as an example.

Yes I did said character and drama, but the questions come after to develop the idea a little more. You can answer yes, Shige has redeeming qualities, that's why Koyama falls in love with him, but not enough to save him, that's why Koyama kills him in the end (and oh, the angst!!!) or not... and someone else kills him (*more angst!!*) or... uh, hell, I'm good with fluff, but I only see the dark side of this XD (I like angst too!), so, which way do you want to go? You answer, and I ask the next question!

Hahaha the dark side is good, you know how I love the angst XD I'm drawn to a nasty ending, because I LOVE those - my first instinct is for someone else to kill Shige, and Koyama find him, but I've written two of those sorts of fics recently, so I don't think another is a good idea XD Koyama killing him would be interesting to write, I've never written from that sort of point of view... But I'd kind of like to write the fluff just to see if I could do it, to have a bit of variety you know? I always write nasty endings, it would be a big change to write something that could go either way, and end it nicely. I do like a challenge. I'd probably try writing both endings and seeing which one came out better.

I like the idea of working two endings to this. I can see Koyama deciding on killing him because he knows someone else will if he doesn't, and Shige asks for it to be him rather that any other. On the fluffy end... girl, if you want to try fluff don't do it with such a dramatic set up! But it can be worked out. It won't be completely fluffy, but what if they run away? Shige uses his dark contacts to get away, and Koyama goes along with (I totally see them going to Hawaii... or Okinawa... or New York!). There's always going to be regret and a level of insecurity, but they are together and they take that small form of happiness to create something memorable, even if it doesn't last long (sappy and dramatic, but romantic too!) or something like that? XD

I've just found out that the wiki page of Weiss Kreuz is very informative without being too long. And I had totally forgotten about the experimental animations Koyasu (the creator, voice of the main character and one of the guys singing all the songs (they formed a band for this)) tried long ago to tell the story in different formats. An example. And I'm trying to sell you this because if you know a little more, you can enjoy the fics! The characters in canon are seriously fucked up, that makes reading twisty stories rather easy in the fandom!

Yeah! Is awesome to get to the same idea like that, isn't it? ^^ I'm glad you seem so much into this story! The plan wasn't for you to write it all, but if you do it, fantastic!! AU is such a tricky style though, good luck with it! And you know if you need someone to bounce more ideas of, I'm here ^o^
