jobhunting - no more.
gaaaaaaaaaaaah. so um i got a job. how? i have no idea but point is : i got a job. i really didnt think i would work at all this summer but fuck this is sweet. its at a time when i really need it too because ive run dry of money. its at burger king [ the one on the corner of tecumseh and lauzon ]. shut up. its a job that pays and thats all i need. im sure ill be working bitch hours with student pay but i assume it'll all be worth it. im afraid i might become one of those people that entirely give their lives away to the louzy excuse they call a job. the type of people that stop hanging out with thier friends and lose their social lives because of work...it all happened real fast too
i put in my application a couple weeks back thinking i was just wasting my time. i did it as a kinda thing to just shut my parents up about me not working and wasting my time doing nothing productive. because of that i didnt apply anywhere else...now thinking about it, im insanely lucky to have got it. anyways, so i got a call yesterday setting up an interview for today. i go today , i was incrdibly smoooooth and just mere hours later the manager called me up asking for my shirt and pants size. orihentation [sp?] is saturday and i guess things will just go from thereee. it seems like things are finally working out for me bit by bit.
