I'm blaming crediting
enomis57 (who credited
ladybracknell) for this picspam. Thanks to both of them I've discovered (and downloaded) a nifty photo-taking app for my iPhone called 'Hipstamatic'.
***WARNING***
IT'S ADDICTIVE. I MAY FORGET TO EAT OR SLEEP OR FEED THE CHILDREN. I'M BUSY, OKAY?
Flowers first...
Lily and some kind of purple thing in my front yard flower beds...Anyone recognize what this is? I tend to plant things and completely forget about what they are.
Blooming Lamb's Ear.
Yellow flowers---Brown-Eyed Susans??? I've got two types of these; normal ones like these and some that bloom like Chrysanthemums--very fat and fluffy.
These are the 'fluffy' ones.
Purple Coneflower. They come up EVERYWHERE. Which is better than weeds coming up everywhere so I don't mind.
Blooming dill and cilantro. I have to pull this stuff out so it won't shade the tomatoes/peppers/cucumbers too much but I try to let it go to seed as much as possible. The cilantro seeds are excellent---dried and ground up they become coriander!
Peas. Not too many this year...
Sweet Cayenne pepper. Which is supposed to be hot, not sweet. Go figure.
'Perpetual' onions. Not the real name but they really are perpetual. They bloom and form little baby onions on top. And then they bloom and form baby onions...and so forth...
BLACKBERRIES are berry, berry good this year. Or at least so far. The bushes are loaded.
Sugar Rabbit would, I'm sure, like to be in the garden but instead is guarding the kitchen.
