Finished!
The current art project in progress is no longer in progress but completed! My fellow painter-buddy and I put the finishing touches on the set of Oliver today and I even sat down and enjoyed the first part of rehearsal. Such a fun production...
This was the exciting project I did this afternoon:
Wow...a door.
Here's stage right:

And painter-buddy, Pat, who was attempting to fix the optical illusion of a leaning chimney:
The chimney still looked like it was leaning if you looked at it from a certain vantage point. We gave up. Right after the shot was taken Pat dropped a palette of paint on the walkway. Oops! Luckily it didn't splash on the walls.
I get to see the full production on Friday morning and then join the cast and crew for a luncheon.
This evening I stayed to watch the opening number of 'Food, Glorious Food', seen here in the 1969 version:
