My Immortal by Evanescence. This was one of the few tracks I had on my mobile when I was in hospital the first time, and possibly the only non-jump around track. Thanks to the drugs and illness, I had many contemplative moments, and this fast became the theme song to my musings.
Middleman by Terrorvision. Part of the soundtrack to my University years. I'd always been into classic rock (Zeppelin, Sabbath etc), but a mate at Uni introduced me to the more modern (ie post 70's) side of the coin, and it was pretty much all downhill from there!
Mustang Sally - such an upbeat song. I only have the version sung in the Commitments at home, but it's still extrememyl listenable. Such a shame that singer turned out to be such a colossal knob....
Master of Puppets - Metallica. What more needs to be said - I could have picked any number of tracks off both this album and Justice for All. They're all favourites of mine - but this one started with an M, so this one it is.
Mein Herz Brennt by Rammstein. I love this band, even though I don;t know a lot of what they are actually saying. Their music just reaches into you and makes you live. This song in particular has such an astounding opening. Soft and thoughtful, then blasting you awake with a phenomenal industrial riff.
