Health and other matters

Well, I'm getting better.

I still have MRSA and DVT, and apparently, it's going to take several months to get rid of both.

However, my stomach seems to be hurting a lot less. I am a lot more mobile, and seem to be able to cook, wash up etc. Went to Berkeley Castle with Bob and Paul last weekend, and managed several ciders and meads! Was a good day - though it was depressing how many times I really needed to sit down.

As for LRP - found a product online called a stoma shield. Mans I may, in a year or so once all is settled, be able to resume combat-based LRP. Til then it's Vampire (SPS combat) and Three Kingdoms, which while a combat club, is small enough to safely go non-combat without risk of accidents. I should be heading to Vampire in October, and possibly back to TK in the new year. I should be making it to CP for next June - it will have been 13 months since the operation by then, which is cool.

Thanks to all my mates for their messages of support. You know who you are - and it's been really good hearing from those people who are a long way away, especially.
