Well, it seems it is quite dead around here. I am new to LJ, but found this community and it resulted in a melted puddle of fangirl. Imagine my disappointment when I saw when the last update was.
No matter. I shall post anywho.
Valjean/Javert has been my favourite pairing since I first saw the TAC.That was four years ago, and since then I have seen the stage show more times than I can count on both hands, read the book so many times I've worn out two copies, and got my hands on every movie version I could find. And yet after those four years, every single time I come back to Les Mis, be it novel, musical and even the movies (no matter how much I despise most film versions) I always come out with the same feeling. Valjean's and Javert's fates were linked for a reason other than Valjean's need to go back to prison, and such a tragic ending was not necessary, as we all know all Javert needed was a hug. :( When I come to this line, even though the penciled note on Valjean's grave about losing his angel is referring to Cosette, I always think of Javert..
Anyhow, I come bearing tiny gifts that are not of quality. Two banners, an icon, and soon I will come bearing fiction and Valjean/Javert videos.
