I hope this is acceptable, as I thought it might be relevant, but I put together a fairly large post with some Valjean/Javert recs (along with a hefty pile of gen about them, or about Javert being a snarky badass). They are all consensual, and heavily skewed towards plotty and/or snarky rather than PWP.

And I owe a lot of people direct comments, sorry, I will get to that as soon as I can.
