Star Ocean 3 thoughts
Got the game a few days earlier, and have been playing it rather obsessively. I want to invent things, or at least start cooking. XD
The main characters are rather annoying: Fayt is so lawful good and rulebound, and Sophia suffers the fate of being the protagonist's love interest. In other words, boring to the nth degree. I found Peppita to be rather annoying as well, but then I never really liked prepubescent teenagers in RPGs. I like the older characters, especially Cliff. He's so very laidback. Nel isn't too bad either. For the optional characters, I would like to take Albel, which leaves me with a choice between Nel and Peppita. >_< Nel's good, but Peppita is better at item creation.
Eventually got used to the fighting again, but I think I'll be pretty bad with it throughout the game. Never finished the Cave of Trials in the second one, just finished the game. I wonder if I can get Fayt to pair up with anyone other than Sophia. It'll be really interesting if I can pair Fayt with one of the guys. XD XD XD
