(no subject)
A day with highs and lows:
Highs: I ran a ambulance call from start to finish, and did pretty well. I didn't actually fall off my horse. I ended on an okay note. I took a VERY long, wonderful, thorough shower.
Lows: I forgot my belt, I forgot my badge, I left BVA early to go to a doctor's appointment just to be told the specialist has zero intention of doing anything for my TMJ $200 later. I was cold today, as it was rainy and I have no mid-weight jacket. I almost fell off my horse today, and it was terrifying (last summer all over again). The really scary part, though, was not the injury. Sure, being a paraplegic would suck balls, but I was actually more scared of how it would affect Ian. I guess being in love does that to you.
But now I'm showered and clean. There is a warm kitty blissfully curled up in my lap, and I am eager to start my homework. Later Ian and I are going to watch Little Shop of Horrors. I really do have the best boyfriend- he completely tolerates me dragging him to things he otherwise wouldn't partake in whatsoever, and he even often develops a real interest and enjoyment in it, even if only a little bit.
