The adventures of Little Car!
AAACHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! *sniffle* Yeesh... spring must be right around the corner if I'm sneezing this bad. Loving the weather down here, though... nice 'n' sunny ^__^ But it still gets cold enough at night to make stuff freeze up.
So my little car hit a good patch of ice on the road the other morning and didn't want to correct itself like I wanted it to and sent me into a ditch. This comes to show that my little car is a beast in disguise because nothing happened to it (with the exception of a broken grill it no longer has, but that's no big deal). Not a good way to start off the day (the bad part was I was having a great morning up until that point >.< Just my flippin' luck, huh?) My mom and I tested out a nice new blue Beetle at a dealership the night before too. We both liked the car but it was nearing the 100000 mile mark on the odometer (it was only a '99 too O__o)and someone else already took a liking to it and made an offer before us too so I won't be able to get the Bug I never had (I was going to have a blue bug as my first car, and then my grandpa sold it *annoyed*). I'm quite content with my little car, though. Yes it's old and yes it has flaws, but that car has saved my ass countless times, like the other morning in the ditch. With it's bad acceleration rate (I was attempting to get back up to the speed limit after going around a curve but it didn't happen) and the seatbelt which works too well (probably the only thing that works properly in that car ^_^), the car's in one piece and I'm in one piece. Yeah, I give Little Car (its newly adopted name from a few weeks ago... suits it very well) too much crap. *promises to praise car more often*
