Wow! Neat that you wrote her POV as a daughter with the feelings but in the end, business prevailed. I really enjoyed this one.

I also liked that the assassin was a woman, because as you noted, it's uncommon.

And though I can’t see them, I know that there are eyes on me every step of the way. I look around as if I am admiring the décor trying and failing to pick out the sensors and monitors that are watching me.
I liked this detail. In that kind of work, you know all those dangers too well, because you practice them on other people.

I really liked the emotional conflict that rose up at the end. That's the kind of thing that takes something from being a simple genre story to one that makes an impression.
