Another hard week of slaving myself over papers and presentations, I decided to reward myself with another movie marathon. Woot!
After watching Frozen Flower, I became quite intrigued with gay movies. I found a few and decided to watch them... on my small screen laptop (sigh).
I watched Go Go! G-Boys and Hatsu-Koi. Then to balance off the gayness, I also watched Kamen Rider Den-O's Final countdown and Onigashima Warship. Though in my eyes, they were pretty much the same, except Kamen Rider had more eye candy (laughs).
Both of the movies (G-Boys and Hatsu-Koi) were... well. They didn't really make a lot of sense. I was really expecting more plot but I guess due to budget issues, they couldn't do so...?
What did make me go squeal was that in G-Boys one of the actors (Tang Zhen Gang) also acted in another drama that I'm currently watching, Queen's. There were some coincidences in there, for example, in G-Boys, his character tried to give his best friend/crush a giant teddy bear for his birthday and in Queen's, his nickname is 'Teddy Bear'. I don't know why I found that so amusing (laughs).
During the eariler episodes of Queen's, Tang Zhen Gang's character did something to make the school assume that he was gay. Even though the rumour died down, after watching G-Boys, I kinda wish he was gay in Queen's. He and the other main guy would have made a great couple. It was actually the interaction between the two that made me continue watching the series (laughs).
Kamen Rider Den-O! . The more I see Momotaros interact with Ryoutarou, the more cute I think they are together. The easily jealous type is sort of my type as well (laughs). I'm always thinking, if somehow Momotaros and Ryoutarou were to get together, would Koutarou suddenly disappear from existence? (laughs)
In Onigashiwa Warship, Ryoutarou appeared as a child. But for some reason, none of the others were surprised. I'm wondering if there was another movie somewhere that I missed that explained Ryoutarou's age. I however found it quite funny that even though Ryoutarou is a child, when Momotaros and the others processed him, his Den-O form is adult size (laughs). But I remembered at one point in the original series, when Ryoutarou was a child as well, he also had a child form when he transformed into Den-O. My imagination perhaps?
All that's left for me to watch is the Cho-Den-O series! I'm debating on whether or not I should watch Kamen Rider Decade as well for the sake of the Den-O cameos. Maybe it could explain Ryoutarou's child form?
