So my damn 3 page book report is due tomorrow evening and I can’t stop playing SpellDown. It’s driving me nuts! The book (almost unread) is just lying beside me, haunting me to read it, but instead I’m fixated towards my laptop screen. But anyways, on with the show! So I finished playing the following routes/endings today:
WARNINGS:
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE FOLLOWING MENTIONED ROUTES
INCOMPREHENSIBLE REASONING/FANGIRLING
LENGTHY STUFF
Kyousuke (GOOD/BAD [2] ENDS)
- Good End:
- Bah! I couldn’t go through it, even though I said I would, I couldn’t listen to Kyousuke. During their H-Scene I removed my earphones and just read the text… (laughs). I just know listening to him would ruin my image of Shinpachi from Gintama forever. That is a mistake I never want to make again (Cough, Midorikawa Hikaru cough.)
- … yeahhhh. As cliché as the whole shoujo leading up to sex part, I’m mildly surprised that none of them had express their true feelings toward each other. The closest thing being was Jojima asking Kyousuke if it was okay to have sex with him, haha.
- And yeah, I don’t really see how those two are going to end up happy. Not that I have a thing against age, but given that Kyousuke never really proclaimed he loved Jojima, their relationship may become bland in the future especially since they’re 10 years apart, Jojima might not have the vigour to participate in activities that he might use to enjoy… heh. For all we know Kyousuke might have just wanted sex for the heck of it (1. They were in a love hotel 2. He was going to receive it from the hero he adored the most).
- Bah, the one thing that annoyed me the most was the voice change. In the beginning when Kyousuke appeared, he sounded more top and less… Shinpachi. At least more vigorous and chirpy. But then when you get to his route he becomes so bottom. His voice and actions all portray him to be this weak little boy, which he wasn’t in the beginning. Or perhaps it could be because he got injured that he’s acting this frail? I don’t know. Either way, I did not like it…
- Bad End (1):
- The bad ends were quite sad to me, and again, further proving that it was really one sided Jojima/Kyousuke more than anything. In the first one because Kyousuke caught a cold and ask his mother to come and take care of him, he wasn’t able to ‘go on a date’ with Jojima. And because his mother came they went back to their city to heal Kyousuke’s leg. The sad part was that he did not even leave Jojima a message that he was going to leave, and he only found out later from Genjirou. Genjirou gave him Kyousuke’s number and he immediately called it when he got home, but all Kyousuke did was apologize so… care freely and hung up soon afterwards, as if all those times that Jojima helped him through rehabilitation was nothing; all those drives to the hospital and picking him up to the wheelchair, nada! The BAD End concluded with Jojima silently placing the phone back on the receiver and meeting himself in a room full of silence. Ooh~ Poor thing!
- Bad End (2):
- When Kyousuke was depressed, Jojima tried to cheer him up by saying that it’s not like him to be sad. A very common thing to say, I think? But apparently it pissed Kyousuke off to the point of running back to his city. The next day Jojima looked at the scribble Kyousuke left behind and cried, saying he was sorry for saying something like that. Pfff. In the first place, how the heck was Kyousuke able to go back home by himself? He can’t walk, remember? Well whatever, it’s not really worth mentioning.
Various “Bad” Endings:
Murata (GOOD/BAD ENDS (?))
- I actually have no idea if it’s considered a good end, or just both bad ends, but to me they were, so…
- Good End:
- So crazy Murata waltz into Sasaki Boxing Center and starts molesting Jojima for no apparent reason. Well, there was, but did he have to molest random strangers to do so? He’s either incredibly evil, crazy, or stupid. The Murata I knew from Kyousuke’s ending sounded incredibly retarded, so I didn’t know if I liked Murata being all top and raping Jojima. But of course Jojima resisted and beat the shit out of Murata (laughs)! I couldn’t have been more happier. Go! Punch that ass wipe in the face! Well apparently Murata is an M because after noting Jojima’s strength and getting his ass kicked, he fell madly in love with him. Remember, this was a perpetrator with the whole intention of randomly raiding the opponent’s gym and raping some stranger, and ended up falling in love with him. I did find how Murata acted afterwards… cute. Coming to Sasaki’s gym every day just to meet his ‘honey’, and have delusion (but cute) fantasies of Jojima and himself. I particularly liked the one about Himeo and Joliet (Romeo and Juliet)! The CG was Jojima in a dress, with his goatee and all. Cute~ The ending concluded with Murata proclaiming that he was leaving the Honour Gym to join Sasaki’s so he and Jojima can be together forever (laughs).
- So what did childhood friend think of this so-call rival? He encouraged it (laughs).

Himeo and Joliet. Really lol Jojima's face? Priceless.
- Bad End:
- So Murata raped Jojima in this route. This was the first H-Scene I saw with Jojima being bottom, and ohhh~! He has such an adorable voice. According to the other H-Scenes I’ve seen with him now, he’s wasted being top… ////!
- So supposedly after raping someone (or in the middle of raping) Murata grew fondness for Jojima’s body and asked him if he would become his. Like geez, what?! You’re raping a stranger and you expect the stranger to consent in becoming your forever…? He might have acted this cocky because he’s a… BWA champion or something? But still, you can’t get what you want, jackass!
- Because Jojima denied his request, after raping him, the asshole had the guts to take his picture and threaten to show them to Kyousuke if he didn’t become his. At one point a thought crossed my head thinking, geez Jojima, you’re a boxer right? Just beat the shit out of him and break his phone lol but probably because he was violated + Murata’s ridiculing that made Jojima to beg him to leave the gym before the students see them.
- They met up again during the middle of the night on an alley to listen to Jojima’s decision but he chose neither, choosing to fight with Murata instead. Murata said that his specialty was dirty street fighting and they duke it out. It wasn’t confirmed, but the route implied that Jojima had the whole intention of killing Murata and succeeded, as he noted that he will never to able to coach Kyousuke again/Murata was the first one to get suckered punched.
Jojima’s Arrest:
- This was actually funnier than it sounds. Jojima was worried about Kyousuke’s wellbeing while he was walking home and decided to check up on him. When he got to the hospital he realized that visiting hours were over. Thinking about it once, Jojima decided to brush that aside and went in anyway. The next day reporters circled around the hospital reporting that Jojima Masato had tried to enter the hospital at night through a second floor window and was noticed by a nurse. He was arrested on the spot. (LAUGHS)
TOCHINKAN Friendship:
- I have no idea why this is considered an end. It didn’t even involve Jojima, but the first minor characters instead. Boring~!
Genjirou Accidental death:
- Aw, this one just torn at my heart strings (not Genjirou dying part, but what happened with Jojima afterwards…). Azuma got beaten up by the honour gym because Jojima kept on refusing to fight Otaba. Instead of being angry like he should to continue the game, Jojima became filled with remorse and guilt, screaming why those things happen only to him, when all he wanted was a normal life and continue his love of boxing. Genjirou told him to calm down and that their first priority should be taking Azuma to the hospital. While Genjirou was running to get his car, he got hit by a car and died.
- After Genjirou’s death, the amount of people coming to the gym decreased tremendously. Firstly because two people from the same gym were injured in one night; pressure from the media with Otaba’s story caused the public to stop coming. Kyousuke left because his mom wouldn’t approve of him coming to the gym anymore and Chii and Kenda left because of what happened to Azuma. All that’s left of the gym was the chairman and Jojima. One day while quietly mopping the floor, the chairman walked in a drunken state and yelled at Jojima that there was no more use in cleaning the place up anymore. The chairman than shouted Jojima to come up to the ring and fight him like a man; to stop being a coward (from guilt of Yuichi’s death) and to box again. Of course Jojima refused and the chairman soon slumped over due to drunkenness in the ring. Jojima stood in the same spot for a few hours thinking about what the chairman had said. After looking back to see the chairman still asleep, he walked into the ring to try to wake him up, only to find that he had passed away due to heart failure. Plus with the added stress and the financial burden the gym has, it was forced to shut down. Jojima disappeared soon after, never to be heard of again.
- Moral of the story: Be angry when someone beats up your friend. You never know what might happen.
Mr. Bloody End:
- Gah, this was one of those times that made me want to rinse my eyes with soap after going through a route. So nasty, so illogical, so… what the fuck. Not as much as Sergi x Might, because Jojima’s bottom voice makes up for everything, but almost up there because it made no sense whatsoever.
- So Jojima politely goes up to Mr. Bloody’s gym to decline his offer of fighting Otoba because he did not wanted to die. Suddenly for reasons completely unknown, Mr. Bloody drugged him, and decided to keep him as a pet. What the fuck happened in between to end up like this?! It made no fucking sense what so ever! Plus the fact that I needed to go through old man sex was pretty sickening. I did like Jojima being all cute and bottom though (his bottom voice was…! ////)
- The most irk-est thing about this ending was that there were about 5 H-Scenes in that route! 5. FIVE. FIVE! 5 H-Scenes with an old man! GAH! My eyes! The other good endings only had two! If only those H-Scenes were given to someone more appropriate, like Otoba or something. Come on, he has the potential, but the game just made him so… not. Sigh.
- His end concluded with Jojima becoming too dependent on Mr. Bloody and chose not to leave his prison anymore, instead opting for sex everyday from Mr. Bloody
- In the beginning Mr. Bloody had said when he captured Jojima, that he would throw him away when he's done using him but in the conclusion said that he'll never let Jojima go from his side. Ehhhhhh. Blagh.
- Second end, Jojima gets drugged again and wakes up in the ring, naked. This end was just… really what the fuck. I can’t help swearing, it’s just so… GAH! Mr. Bloody invited a whole audience (male and female) to watch Jojima get gang rape…? What was the most sickening was that the audience participated in drugging Jojima, so he could get high and take pleasure in sex. I didn’t get it; do people actually enjoy witnessing this? I understand that this is a game and for all we know could be fantasy. But supposedly Jojima said that he had remember something like this on TV before, but never imagined that this would happen to himself. He got raped by 3 guys while he was high, in front of an audience. In the end Mr. Bloody passed the rapers a gun and shot Jojima in the ass. Yeahhhhhhhh. That’s some twisted fetish.
Genjirou (GOOD End):
- Uh. Hm. I don’t know. Maybe it was because I had gone through Kyousuke’s route first, but I expected a little more… interaction before sex. For Kyousuke, they had gone on for at least 3 ‘dates’ before their scene (laughs). But for Genjirou, it was more like… “I thought you realized that I’ve been crushing on you since forever so I want to have sex with you” that kind of feeling. Perhaps it’s because they’ve been childhood friends so the game doesn’t need to explore too much to their relationship? But don’t get me wrong, the H-Scene was… awesome. //// and a lot more romantic than Kyousuke’s. The fact that Genjirou was going to get it after 20 years of waiting probably what made it passionate (LAUGHS).
- I had a good laugh though, when the game was saying that even though they were almost in their thirties, Jojima still acted like a virgin girl. LOL LOL The game just won’t let us forget that they’re old.
- Assuming that Jojima is in fact, a virgin, the feeling of wanting to do it again while being spent was so cute. His bottom voice is love <3
- So supposedly, all childhood friends are in fact, perverts. I could already think of 4 cases where something like this had occurred (laughs). After doing it for the whole night (I kid you not) Genjirou became hooked with sex (laughs). But because Jojima was still training back his form, his body basically couldn’t get any rest, haha. So every time Genjirou asked for sex, Jojima would refuse. It was cute to see Genjirou act so clingy for sex~ Genjirou was like, if I don’t get sex, at least tell me you love me, or something. Cute! Jojima then blushes, and said that Genjirou should slowly watch for his love on the ring. Genjirou misunderstood and thought that Jojima would say it if he won the championship. Genjirou then relentlessly began training Jojima. So, so adorable.
Phew, that was long. And I could have been using the time to write my paper. I'm such an idiot.
