Wow. The first time where I couldn’t find an actual dialogue to put into an entry. Stellan’s route was actually quite short, and could probably be called a true ending (?). I was pretty surprise myself at how well I handled Stellan’s voice. Turns out he only sounds monotone and boring when he’s talking to Kurt publicly, and with good reason too (laughs).
But yeah his requirement is different from the rest of the characters. Firstly in order to make his route playable, you have to play through all of the main character’s route. So that’s Reinhard, Syuichi, Naseeruddin and Wind. After you played through all the routes, when you start a new game, Stellan will give you two options: One is to begin Kurt’s diplomatic work immediately or the second one, to spend the day in the castle. Picking the second option will begin Stellan’s route! Since you can’t ‘pick a country’ to speak to Stellan like the other target characters, once you begin his route, you have to make sure that the affection of each country is distributed equally. This is to ensure that you won’t build affection towards the other characters and switch off to their route.
You’ll have an opportunity to speak to Stellan every 3 months and but the 3 event can choose if you want to continue in his route. If you choose not to, I think you’ll end up in the normal route (I haven’t confirmed yet but I will soon).
Out of all the target characters, Stellan was the only one that had secretly loved Kurt ever since they were little. Well of course, as nobody has even met Kurt yet before the game started. But I found it very cute how often Stellan has to control himself (such as speaking in a monotonously voice) to prevent himself from jumping on Kurt all the time. And as always Kurt was completely oblivious to it… to the point where it became a tad annoying. I suppose those types can be loveable too…
When I mentioned how I thought Stellan’s was the ‘true ending’ it was because his good end and his bad end were both satisfactory. In the sense that both were happy in the end and not just one/neither of them. In the good end, Stellan was promoted to a cabinet minister? (I don’t remember anymore…) because of his success with his aromatherapy project and was allowed to stay by Kurt’s side. In the bad end, his project failed and was demoted to another place. But Kurt wanted to be with Stellan so they both fled the castle to live happily ever after someplace else.
One thing I found interesting was how in the bad end, Stellan wanted Kurt to become ‘his’ but in the good end, Stellan ultimately became Kurt’s. But he was still topping Kurt. In the other game I was playing, Rinkai Gasshuku, when Kaiji said he’ll become Naota’s (main character), he actually became submissive, unlike Stellan here (laughs).

So that’s everyone! All that’s left is ????’s route and the normal ending and I’M DONE WITH THIS GAME. I just want to quickly uninstall this so I can have room to play my other games (laughs). Though I should make a top 10 for this game like I did with Kannagi no Tori, maybe? But it’s been so long that I might have forgotten most of the endings (laughs…). On the other hand I’m a little apprehensive playing ????’s route because I’m currently watching Togainu no Chi his voice does not go both ways for me. Does anyone one know who I’m talking about? (laughs) wait or play the game yourself to find out!
