Me and the internets vs the music
bored and mildly interested by talk of when you discovered music chat on the internet, i went to google groups and found me defending the spice girls and telling an old joke and Rhodri wanting to marry me =:-O
i cringe at the old me in some of my old posts (oo in my late 20s, so young!). it has replaced photos of me in the nud.
but for the record it took me a good few years to think of using internet as a music finding device. i was on newsgroups in 95 regularly, but only for comics and computers stuff. i finally became a music newsgroup regular in 97ish. and it wasn't til 2000/2001 that greenspun caught my eye (via Freakytrigger i think)
