Happy 2006
Happy new year everyone. Last night Becky and I went to a bar to celebrate. There were lots of people dressed as superheroes, which was weird. There was a fit Buzz Lightyear though. I hope this year will be good. So far it's been ok, but one day's not much to go on so we shall see. I have some big things this year I suppose, like turning 20 and moving to a whole new country. For now, I remain optimistic. It's hard not to think of the year as a whole, especially when you're apparently weird because you have a visible calendar in your head, but, er, yeah, instead of making a new year's resolution I'm just going to try to think of things in the short term, because there's not actually any more I can do for now about anything in the long term, so this week I'm going to concentrate on having fun and going out and then after that just trying to do well in my January exams...hopefully that'll be easier and I won't go all spazzy not feeling enough in control or something. Anyway, it's just passed midnight so I'm a whole 24 hours late wishing the Interweb a happy new year. Oh well.
