So, I'm watching Sleepy Hollow. Generally enjoying it; it's fun.

But one thing that particularly tickles me is that I get to say, upon the inclusion of a certain guest star:

So, in December I posted what I had intended to be the final chapter of a series I had started waaaaaaay back in 2006. I got some good comments on it, some great responses from people who'd been with me during the main writing of the long story of the series for two years. And then I got some other responses.

It's my turn to talk about the Hunger Games. When I saw the movies were coming out, I had precisely zero knowledge of what they were about or that there were books about them. Comments are great things. For those fic writers here on LJ, comments are often our lifeblood. They give us a reason to keep writing, encouragement that we're on the right track, and just let us know that in the whole wide world, someone else finds our efforts worthy of notice.
