Arthur has no redeeming features as a character. Uhhhggghh I disliked him so on his run of things. THis sounds pretty much like him, and I like that Daphne didn't give up, not mentally, in the face of these odds.

When I was doing Heroes meta, I referred to him as "Arthur the Season-Destroying Monster." Because he was. People were about to do something awesome, and he'd screw them over so badly they were back pre square one. Not fun.
