Freaks and Geeks: 1x03 - Tricks and TreatsFrom tv.com: Lindsay agrees to stay home and hand out candy with her mom on Halloween night. However, when she gets an invite to go cruise around town with Nick, Daniel, and Kim she ditches her mom. Sam, Bill, Neal, and Harris go trick or treating. Lindsay and the gang go on a vandalism spree that starts with smashing pumpkins and ends abruptly after Lindsay accidentally pelts Sam with an egg.

bill: alright here's the bet, for 10 bucks i will drink this much of anything.
sam: anything?
bill: anything. as long as it's something you can eat. okay, only stuff from the kitchen, nothing from the bathroom and nothing from the garage.
neal: ok.
bill: and it has to be food. nothing from under the sink. no cleansers or detergent, no furniture polish and no cut up bits of sponge.
sam: ok.
bill: i'm just trying to win 10 bucks here. i don't want to die.

daniel: hey check it out it's lindsay. hey lindsay, what's up?
lindsay: hey daniel. hey kim.
kim: hello brain.
daniel: so this is your bus stop.
lindsay: *scoffs* yea.
millie: we've had the same bus stop since kindergarten. how fast does your car go?
daniel: 150 if i hook up the nitrous tank.
millie: your car is really loud. my dad says you need a muffler. once he even threw a rock at you when you drove by, but i guess you didn't hear it.
daniel: he threw a rock at me?
kim: hey kid, what the hell are you eating? is that laundry soap?
millie: it's lick a maid, want some?
lindsay: millie! *hits millie*
kim: um, i'll pass.
daniel: uh yea, we got to get going. i'd give you a ride linds but i got an engine block at the back seat.
lindsay: uh yea.
daniel: *dips finger into lick a maid* thanks for the candy skinny. *speeds off*
millie: see my dad's right, he needs a muffler.

lindsay: millie who's that?
millie: who?
lindsay: millie.
millie: you weren't supposed to see. that's tommy my secret love. we met this summer at church camp.
lindsay: you have a boyfriend?
millie: lindsay, you got to keep this a secret. i mean, tommy and i don't even french kiss yet. tommy says that if you do before you've been going out for six months, you go to hell.
lindsay: why didn't you tell me?
millie: i didn't want to make you feel bad, since you don't have a boyfriend and all.

lindsay: hey, what are we going to do? there's this haunted house that's supposed to be really scary.
nick: hey that could be a lot of fun right?
kim: for who? losers.
daniel: hey shut up, i like haunted houses.
kim: i rest my case.
