when someone that you look up to and respect spends so much time telling you that the people that you care about are worthless, why would you expect them to be offended when you make efforts to avoid association? how is it that someone who has a heavy influence on the way that you live your life can profess utter indifference about things that give you the inspiration to exist, then fight to hold back protests as you sever the final strands of the makeshift bridge that no one had the guts to cross or burn anyway? when someone expresses their disgust so blatantly that you are forced to cannonball directly into a pile of egg shells if only to mention a name, why would you feel obligated to coexist?
