Dimes!
Goodness! There is, like, a dollar in dimes sitting on my desk. No quarters, no pennies, just dimes. Somehow all the change I've been receiving is dimes. Which? Kinda? A little creepy, yeah.
Anyhoo, Sketch War just started sometime last night. It's just like Sketch Battle only it's a war. Normally, two artists draw sketches making fun of each other. In the case of the War, it's closer to 56 artists, all at once split up into pairs on a single elimination bracket. You can see the most recent round here, in which I seem to be holding my own pretty well. Vote for me if you like, but only if you legitimately think my stuff is better. I wouldn't want to be accused of trying to solicit votes or something. Not that I would even have the readerbase to do it.
Oh, and I'm also in the final running for being in SketchBattle season 3. Still might not get in it, but is something to watch, if you'd like to see me making fun of other people who volunteer for such a service.
Also, bonus update stuff! First day of class, I get assigned an animation project that's due the very next day of class! In 3D, even! Absolutely criminal. Eh, but I went ahead and whipped it up anyway. It's just some ball bounce tests in Maya. Had to animate spheres to make them look like they were bouncy or heavy. Put it in Flash just because Flash is the Lord and Master of Internet Compression. I guess.
